How to celebrate Prom in quarantine:

Having to hear the sad news that your prom may be canceled or postponed can be hard. Even thought the school wide celebration have uncertainties you can still take time to celebrate at home with your friends. Here are some tips to having a quarantine friendly prom.




1. Have a photo shoot in your prom attire!

Put on that dress that you have been dreaming of wearing your entire high school career, do you hair an make up and go outside or find a spot in your home and smile for the camera. You can also wear suit or any nice dress clothes. Have your family join in on the fun, family that you live with they can also dress up.


2. Plan an at home prom:

Decide a day and pick out your favorite food and music. Invite your family to join you on Zoom or Face Time. Party in your dress all night long or change into your PJs and have a cozy night in.


3. Check to see if your future University or High School is hosting any virtual prom events.

Schools are doing their best to ensure that you have some form of prom. Reach out to your school an see what they suggest.


4. Have a zoom call with friends online!

You and all your friends can dress up and go on Zoom and have your own prom play games, listen to music and reminisce about your favorite high school memories.


5. Join an online prom!
