After 4 long years of high school you have accomplished so much. COVID-19 may have taken away your typical graduation but it did not take away the accomplishment of graduating. You have worked hard for your achievements and deserve to celebrate here are some tips for celebrating your graduation at home.

1. Talk to your school about what they are doing about graduation. They may have something planned which can make it easier for you to plan along with them. It may be a virtual graduation or a graduation in the future.

2. Find a way to involve your family in this celebration. Have a Zoom session with family or friends to allow them to join in on the fun of your celebration.

Create a card on Openme.com and have family and friends share memories about you.

Ask for family to send you video messages of what they would say if they attended your graduation.

This is still your accomplishment and your family and friends are going to be just as proud of you even if they are not able to attend your graduation.

3. Create your own at home graduation. It is your day so you can be the valedictorian and give the class speech. Have family in your home be the audience and pick someone to give you your diploma. Live stream the entire event so friends and family can be seen.

How ever you ends up graduating it will be a memorable day for you. This is new territory for everyone involved we will all be trying to make the best of it for the Class of 2020!

On behalf of the Yes program we wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS to the CLASS of 2020!
